👋 Grown-ups: every game is aligned to 3rd grade Texas TEKS. Easy mode adds hints and supports, Medium matches on-grade test-style questions, and Hard stretches toward 4th grade for students who want a challenge.

💕 Why Mrs. Meger Built This

Mrs. Meger built this arcade for a simple reason: she went on maternity leave, and she wanted her students to stay engaged, supported, and on pace while she was out.

Over ten years of teaching, she saved the STAAR-style questions and lesson sequences that actually work. She paired those with Garland ISD's current 3rd grade scope and sequence, so every game follows the same units, in the same order, that her class is already learning. That way her substitute had a tool that reinforced the real curriculum, and her students and their parents had a way to keep practicing from home.

This arcade is supplemental support, not core instruction. It is for the child who finishes classwork early, the family who wants extra practice at home, or the student who wants to strengthen one skill. Available from any device, anytime, in a way that keeps learning fun. It was never built to sell anything. It was built to add value for her students while she was away.

✅ Garland ISD Compliance

This platform was built to meet Garland ISD's AI, COPPA, and FERPA guidelines. Here is exactly how:

✓No personal information, ever. The arcade never asks for a real name, student ID, birthday, address, school, or grade. Children play using a nickname or initials only.
✓No student data is collected, tracked, or sold. There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party trackers of any kind.
✓No accounts, no logins. Profiles are temporary and live only in the browser on that one device. Nothing is transmitted to any server.
✓Nothing leaves the device. All progress (stars, tickets, squishies) is saved locally in the browser. It is automatically erased when the browser cache or history is cleared, and it is never uploaded anywhere.
✓No live AI is used with students. Every question is generated by built-in math formulas aligned to Texas TEKS. There is no chatbot, no AI that talks to children, and no place for a child to type free text to an AI.
✓No device access. The arcade never requests camera, microphone, location, contacts, or file access.
✓No student records are involved. No IEP, 504, or accommodation data is ever entered into or used by this tool.
✓Served securely over HTTPS.
In short: this is a self-contained practice tool. It teaches, it does not track. Progress stays on the child's own device and disappears when the browser is cleared.
